Invite your friends

Like any site that connects friends, you need your friends on it. Unlike Facebook and similar sites, we do not suggest friends (based on some obscure algorithm), so you need to invite them yourself. This really does help to make Mellow Post more personal and avoid the rubbish that most sites are filled with.

You can easily use the form below to invite your friends by email. You might wonder why you cannot simply send invitations to everyone in your contacts. I don't know about your contacts, but many of mine are from business connections of people I needed to contact once, a long time ago. And I don't really want them on my friends list in Mellow Post. Also, you may not want to allow sites to have access to your contacts. Sending individual friend invitations is a lot more personal and will result in friends in your feed that you really do want to see there.

The invitation that is sent will include your User Name and your Email Address as registered with Mellow Post. This is necessary to help avoid SPAM friend requests.

Your friend is inviting you to join them in a new social media site they are members of, Mellow Post. It has no advertising in feeds, no algorithms feeding unwanted suggestions or posts. They do not track you or sell your data, but have simply created a place where friends can meet and exchange photos, videos and stories.

The only way to join is by invitation - this is to limit members to genuine friends so if you would like to join as well, all you need to do is click on the link that is in the email.

Mellow Post have copied the original idea of WhatsApp and are are offering the first year completely free. After that it is just £1 per year if you wish to continue. This tiny amount will allow them to fund the development and keep it completely free of paid advertising.
